Not just cards but now masks!

During lockdown I did not want to volunteer to help (you know because people!) nor did I want to make scrubs because I felt it would put me under pressure.  Therefore I have turned my hand to making masks.  The first batch raised £175 for Combat Stress and thanks to some lovely ex matelots on Twitter I was able to order the signal flag fabric and make even more masks.  I am currently on my third meter of the same and looking to raise another £325 for charity.

If you are interested - either in the signal flag masks, or the anchor masks (top photo bottom left) or just a regular mask in your colour choice please let me know.  The signal and anchor flags are £6 with £3.75 of each mask going to charity, the regular ones - made from fabric I have left over are £5 with the same amount going to charity.  This includes postage and packing.

Second in the thank you series for NHS and care workers

I had to retrace the paramedic penguin from www.whimsystamps.com as the one they designed was quite american.  I took off the baseball hat and the medical signage, which ours do not have.  COloured with promarkers and Gansai Tambi watercolour by Kuratake

Birthday card for a 100 year old world war 2 veteran

You may have heard about Captain Tom Moore, the lovely 99 year old WW2 veteran walking 100 laps of his garden to raise funds for NHS charities.  His birthday is at the end of the month and I think so many people will want to send him a card  for his birthday and to thank him for raising (currently £23m)

The critters are from Mama Elephant Three Amigos and the sun and ground from law fawn.  I have blended my usual Tom Holtz oxides for the sky.

Baby box card

A commission for a friend, created in the time of corona lockdown.  I love these box cards - the girafe is from Little Claire and the kangaroo is from Lawn Fawn.  Everything else is from my stash

Coronavirus thank you cards

I have this lovely free digistamp from www.whimsystamps.com and thought I would make cards for the nurses in my family who are under some pressure at the mo.

Given the situation, I am happy to make one for you - either a doctor or a nurse in either male or female colours, I will ask you to email me the address of the person and a message to go inside and I will send it directly from here.  I ask only for the cost of a first class stamp and a small donation of £1 towards my chosen charity Combat Stress.
