50th Anniversary Box Card

A commissioned card for a colleague's parents' 50th anniversary. Note the added cat and tortoise which were the elements that my colleague wanted.  I hope she, and they like it.

A good luck card for a colleague who is moving on

I haven't made a card like this for ages, its only letters cut out on my cricut and covered in gems and flowers. I am jolly thrilled - simple and quite but also not effective as you can't read the words! Doh!

Od a bit of a roll today with the box cards!

My mojo is on fire today, just getting some box cards ready for this year so that there is not some almighty rush when I remember I have to post someone's birthday card the next day!

Yet another box card!

You know how fond I am of these high impact cards!  A birthday card for a dog person. It did go down well, which makes all the hard worth worthwhile

Spinner card

I made this little get well cat card for a cat person who had caught the dreaded covid, I think all of the stamps are Simon Says Stamp, who are my secret addiction!  I can only get them by importing them from America!

The little cat in the middle spins around!

Not just cards but now masks!

During lockdown I did not want to volunteer to help (you know because people!) nor did I want to make scrubs because I felt it would put me under pressure.  Therefore I have turned my hand to making masks.  The first batch raised £175 for Combat Stress and thanks to some lovely ex matelots on Twitter I was able to order the signal flag fabric and make even more masks.  I am currently on my third meter of the same and looking to raise another £325 for charity.

If you are interested - either in the signal flag masks, or the anchor masks (top photo bottom left) or just a regular mask in your colour choice please let me know.  The signal and anchor flags are £6 with £3.75 of each mask going to charity, the regular ones - made from fabric I have left over are £5 with the same amount going to charity.  This includes postage and packing.

Second in the thank you series for NHS and care workers

I had to retrace the paramedic penguin from www.whimsystamps.com as the one they designed was quite american.  I took off the baseball hat and the medical signage, which ours do not have.  COloured with promarkers and Gansai Tambi watercolour by Kuratake
